Sam McCool is an internationally acclaimed comedian, event host, and creative entrepreneur who has spent over 15 years mastering the art of connecting with audiences across cultures, industries, and continents. From VIP stages at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix to tech conferences with Microsoft and Google, from luxury yacht events to national awards galas—Sam has hosted, performed, and entertained at the highest levels.

As the founder of Global Master of Ceremonies (GMOC), Sam set out to solve a clear problem in the events industry: too many corporate gatherings lacked personality, cultural fluency, or impact. GMOC was born out of his mission to raise the standard of professional hosting—offering companies worldwide access to elite MCs who could seamlessly blend engagement, humour, and precision.

Sam’s work spans a remarkable list of brands, including Tesla, Qantas, Amazon Web Services, Tourism New Zealand, Microsoft, Commonwealth Bank, Lendlease, Dell Technologies, and many more. He’s been trusted to lead events across over 20 countries, and his versatility has made him the MC of choice for industries ranging from finance and tourism to cybersecurity, real estate, agriculture, and entertainment.

What truly sets Sam apart is his ability to tailor every performance. In one memorable moment, he delivered a flawless comedic hoax as a “French Rugby Coach” to an audience of 500+ finance executives, Wallabies, and All Blacks. In another, he helped launch Malaysia Airlines' Sydney showcase. Whether moderating innovation panels at AWS in Singapore or energizing the crowd at the Tesla Future Mobility Forum, Sam delivers the same blend of charisma and control.
